A day to celebrate ALL relationships

Valentine’s Day: Celebrating All Kinds of Relationships

This Valentine’s Day, our students took the lead in creating a celebration that was fun, inclusive, and full of heart. Rather than focusing solely on romance, we embraced the theme of celebrating all relationships—from friendships and family bonds to self-love and kindness.

A big highlight of the day was the student-designed photo booth! Using funds raised from a successful bake sale earlier in the term, students purchased a variety of fun props—everything from heart-shaped signs to silly wigs and pride flags. The booth quickly became the heart of the celebration.

Throughout lunch, students gathered with their friends to snap joyful pictures. The laughter, creativity, and positive energy were contagious. Best of all, each photo session came with a special keepsake: a mini Polaroid printout for students to take home—a sweet reminder of the people who brighten their school days.

The event was more than just fun—it was a thoughtful celebration of connection and community. By including everyone and focusing on all forms of love, our students created a Valentine’s Day that truly reflected the inclusive and caring spirit of our school.
